What does my coaching look like?
The Complementary Session
This free 20 minute consultation provides an opportunity for us to have a discussion about your current challenges. It also provides an opportunity for you to learn more about the coaching process and A.B.L.E Coaching for ADHD. By the end of the call you will be able to determine whether working with an ADHD coach is the right next step for you.
The Groundwork Session
This session is all about establishing a strong foundation on which to start our coaching partnership. The Groundwork Session is an hour-and-a-half paid session and is a chance for us to continue to explore the challenges you are currently facing. It will also help us start to build a picture of how ADHD is impacting your life; both the positive and negative aspects. No two people experience ADHD in the same way.
Topics that are discussed:
- The most significant way that ADHD is impacting your life or a loved one’s life.
- The strategies that you are now using to address ADHD related challenges.
- What is currently working and not working in your life or the life of a loved one.
- Your most pressing frustrations.
- The areas of life where you would like to see positive results and change for yourself or a loved one.
At the end of the session, we will have gathered valuable information that will help you clarify the areas of your life you would like to start to work on when you decide to move forward with a full coaching program.
Regular Coaching Sessions
These sessions form the on-going coaching partnership. Individual sessions are scheduled three to four times a month and provide you with a safe, non-judgmental environment in which to learn about yourself and take steps toward your desired goals. During these sessions, you determine the “agenda” of the individual coaching sessions as we explore a variety of topics and issues that are important to you and pertain to your desired outcomes. Some topics may be explored over several sessions depending upon the complexity of the issue and your desired outcome.
